Our Story
Since 2020
Get Virtual was founded in 2020 by a group of UCSC professors and local business owners who recognized two parallel challenges: students needed real-world experience to complement their education, and small businesses needed affordable digital solutions to thrive in an increasingly online marketplace.
What began as a small pilot program with 10 students and 5 local Santa Cruz businesses has grown into a thriving community spanning the entire Bay Area, connecting hundreds of students with businesses in Santa Cruz, San Jose, San Francisco, and beyond.
Today, Get Virtual continues to evolve, offering comprehensive courses, mentorship programs, and a platform that makes it easy for students and businesses to find their perfect match.
