What is GetVirtual?
GetVirtual is a student-powered consulting program based at UC Santa Cruz that provides free digital support to small businesses, nonprofits, and startups. Our trained student teams help with website development, digital marketing, branding, and more.
Is it really free? What's the catch?
Yes, our services are completely free if you have the time to work with the university students while they are in training, and if your needs are within the free project scope (please refer to pricing plans at the top of this page). GetVirtual is an educational program that gives UC students real-world experience. Your business benefits from professional-quality digital support, and students benefit from hands-on learning. We also offer paid services at a competitive price for those that need a greater depth of services and quicker project completion turnaround.
What’s the process to get started?
Fill out a short intake form. We will review your needs and match you with a student team. Your student team will schedule an intro call and begin the project
What is expected of me as a client?
We ask for:

Do I get to keep everything the students create?
Yes, all project deliverables—including websites, graphics, and content—are yours to keep and use however you like.
